EA200 & EA400 - What is the purpose of the time delay?

Depending on your application, a time delay could be the most important feature. For example, freezers will go into defrost cycles where temperatures will rise above the high limit setting. With no delay, this would cause an alarm. Since this is an expected situation, there is no need to be notified. Another common situation is loading stock into a cooler or freezer where the door may be open for a length of time causing the temperature to rise above the high limit.
