DSC Power Series Keypads - My keypad will not respond when I press any key but appears to have power, what can I do?

The following steps should correct the situation.
Press and hold the # key for 3 seconds then release.
Now press and hold the 1 key for 3 seconds and the keypad should respond.
Press * 8 (Installers code, commonly 5555)
000 0 11 # # #
The keypad should now respond to all keys when pressed.
