LynxR - Basic programming Tips

Pressing the Installers Code + 8 + 0 + 0 Allows entry into program mode.
If the installer code is not known you can enter programming by powering down the panel then powering back up & pressing [*] + [#] simultaneously within 50 seconds of power up
If the panel has been locked out remotely steps 1 & 2 will not allow access to program mode.
Pressing [*] + the field location will allow you to change values
Pressing [#] + the field location will allow you to view what is in that field
Pressing [*] 56 will allow you to enter zone programming mode to change zone types, serial numbers, report codes, add descriptors
Pressing [*] 80 will allow you to program X-10 devices
Pressing [*] 81 will allow you to program Zone Lists
Pressing [*] 83 will allow you to enroll serial numbers for zones who's zone attributes have been programmed
Pressing [*] 84 will allow you to assign voice descriptors if you have not already done so in [*] 56
Pressing [*] 85 will allow you to Record Custom Voice Descriptors
If Programming reporting codes for fields 59-76 & *89 then enter the report codes in each box, if using a 4+2 or extended format then enter codes in each box, if using 4+1 or 3+1 then only the digit in the 1st box will be sent
If programming report codes using CID format then all you need is the 1st digit entered to be a non-zero entry
To default the panel press [*] 97 then the template you want 1-5
To initialize downloading press [*] 96, this will default the account number & CSID back to factory defaults
To exit program mode & allow entry back into programming via step 1 press [*] 99
To exit program mode & only allow entry back into programming via step 2 press [*] 98
