Orbit 6 - How do I connect a motion detector to the Orbit 6 control?

You'll need to run a 22 gauge 4 conductor wire from the Orbit 6 control to the hardwired motion detector.For example let's use the colors red, black, yellow and green.The red wire will be used to connect to the 12vdc+ terminal at the motion detector and connects to the Orbit 6s AUX terminal.The black wire will be used to connect to the 12vdc- terminal at the motion detector and connects to the "Com/Blk" terminal at the Orbit 6 control. The yellow wire will connect to the motion detectors N/C terminal and connects to one end of the 2.2k ohm resistor , the other end of the resistor will then connect to the z1 terminal on the Orbit 6 (z1 is used for example and can be any "z" terminal) The green wire will connect to the motion detectors"C' or Com terminal and connects to the Com terminal at the Orbit 6 control.
