To invoke an exit delay, press the following keys in sequence on the Sensaphone 400 keypad:
What Is > Status
This will initiate a verbal status report through the unit's speaker. That should give enough time to exit the building. When the status report stops, the unit will be 'armed'.
To increase/decrease the time, change the number of 'Voice Reps'. Press the following keys in sequence to change Voice Reps:
Set > Voice Reps > (enter a number) > Enter
To disarm when re-entering the building, set the 'Call Delay' time to allow enough time to access the Sensaphone & press 'Alarm Cancel'. The default setting for Call Delay is 30 seconds. This can be changed by pressing the following keys in sequence:
Set > Call Delay > (enter minutes) > Enter > (enter seconds) > Enter
The entire unit can then be put in Standby (press 'Run/Standby' key) or you can disable the individual zone the motion detector is connected to:
Example:
Sensor On/Off > 2
The unit will respond with 'Zone 2 alarm disabled'
To re-enable:
Sensor On/Off > 2
The unit will respond with 'Zone 2 alarm enabled'.
