After you have wired the control and have a list devices wired to each zone, you can apply ac and battery power.
You will usually hear a beeping keypad upon power up,this can be stopped by pressing 1234 at the keypad.
For this example we will use the zone list below
Zone 1= Front delay door
Zone 2= Back door
Zone 3= Hall motion detector
Zone 4= Garage delay door

To enter programming mode
Press * 8 9713 0 # (you are now in main control programming mode)

23 # 1 3 6 7 # (this sets some commonly used options)

25 # 3 * 6 * 5 * 3 * # (this step sets the zone types)

(Exit key) (Exit key)  (this exits programming mode)

To set the master code
Press * 5 1234 01 (new 4 digit code) # #
