To enroll the MCM140 keypad, Press the NEXT key until you see INSTALLERS MODE on display, then press OK
Press 9999
Now Press NEXT until you see "ENROLLING" on display, press OK
Now press NEXT until you see ENROLL 1 WAY KP, press OK
Now press NEXT to see " 1 way KP 1", press the OK button, you should see "TRANSMIT NOW " on display.
Take the MCM140 about 15 feet away from the main console and hold the * (star key left of 0) until the red led lights and you should hear the main console beep.When you get back to the main console, you should see 1 way kp 1 and a small black box next to it.This means it was enrolled....if you do not see this,repeat the process but stand further away from the main console.
The MCM140 keypad is now enrolled , exit programming by pressing the AWAY key then the OK key.
Before you go to far , be sure to set the code that will be used at the main console, in the MCM140 as well.From the factory, both have the code of 1111
To set the code on the MCM140, press the # key of the MCM140, then press 1111 now press 1 then the new 4 digit code, then press the # key on the MCM140
As long as the main system shares this code, the keypad should be working.
