How do I program the GSM module as a back up communicator?

These steps are for programming the gsm module for use as a back up communicator to a monitored system.

These instructions assume all  private phone numbers or central station receiver phone numbers and account info has been set up already.

 

 

 

Begin by pressing NEXT until INSTALLERS MODE is on display then press OK

Enter the installers code 9999

 

Now press NEXT until you see DEFINE COMM on display, press OK

 

Now press NEXT until you see 33 LINE FAIL REP, press OK then press NEXT until you see IMMEDIATELY then press OK twice.If it already has IMMEDIATELY on screen just press OK once.

 

Now press AWAY then NEXT until you see DEFINE GSM on display then press OK

 

You should see GSM INSTALL on display press OK

Press NEXT until you see INSTALLED then press OK TWICE

 

Now press NEXT until you see GSM LINE FAILURE then press OK

Now press NEXT until you see 15 MINUTES then press OK TWICE

 

Now press NEXT until you see GSM LINE PURPOSE then press OK

Now press NEXT until you see GSM is BACKUP then press OK TWICE

 

Now we should be able to exit programming by pressing AWAY then OK
